Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons loose black tea or 2 tea bags
  • 23 tablespoons chai spice mix
  • 12 tablespoons honey or sweetener of choice
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • Iced cubes

Instructions

  1. Bring water to a boil in a saucepan.
  2. Add the black tea and chai spice mix to the boiling water.
  3. Let it steep for about 5-10 minutes, depending on your strength preference.
  4. Remove from heat and strain the mixture into a bowl. Add honey or your preferred sweetener.
  5. Let the chai concentrate cool down to room temperature.
  6. Fill a glass with ice cubes.
  7. Pour the cooled chai concentrate over the ice, filling the glass halfway.
  8. Add the milk to fill the glass. Stir well to combine.
  9. Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired and enjoy!

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness to taste.
  • For a stronger chai flavor, let it steep longer.
