A refreshing and fruity iced tea made with ripe mangoes, perfect for hot summer days.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 1/4 cup honey or sugar (adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Let steep for 5-7 minutes.
  3. While the tea is steeping, blend the diced mangoes until smooth.
  4. After steeping, remove the tea bags and stir in honey or sugar until dissolved.
  5. Combine the mango puree with the sweetened tea and mix well.
  6. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves.

Notes

  • You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey/sugar.
  • For a stronger mango flavor, use more mangoes.
  • Try adding a splash of lime juice for a citrus twist.
