- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened.
- Stir in the ground beef, cook until browned.
- Add diced tomatoes, kidney beans, tomato sauce, and beef broth.
- Mix in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20-30 minutes.
- Adjust seasoning to taste before serving.
Notes
- Serve with shredded cheese and sour cream for added flavor.
