  • 1 cup red velvet cake mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the crushed Oreo cookies with melted butter and press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Fold in the sour cream, cocoa powder, and red velvet cake mix until just combined.
  6. Pour the cheesecake batter over the Oreo crust.
  7. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
  8. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door ajar for 1 hour.
