- 1 9-inch unbaked pie crust
- 1 cup pecan halves
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Sprinkle pecans over the pie crust.
- In a bowl, mix brown sugar, heavy cream, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, salt. Pour over the pecans.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare streusel topping by mixing flour, softened butter, and sugar until crumbly.
- After 30 minutes, sprinkle the streusel over the pie.
- Return to oven for 10 more minutes.
- Cool before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, toast the pecans before adding to the pie crust.
- Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
