Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the grated zucchini, applesauce, honey, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing into bars.
Notes
- Make sure to squeeze excess moisture from the grated zucchini.
- For a healthier option, substitute half of the all-purpose flour with whole wheat flour.
