Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine sliced peaches and 1/2 cup of sugar; set aside.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter, remaining sugar, flour, milk, baking powder, salt, and vanilla until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
- Evenly distribute the peach mixture on top of the batter.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
