Description

A delicious and hearty Taco Lasagna Bake that combines the flavors of tacos and lasagna in a single dish, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 2 cups salsa
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar and mozzarella blend)
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup corn, drained
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add the taco seasoning, salsa, black beans, and corn to the skillet; stir to combine and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. In a baking dish, layer 4 lasagna noodles, half of the beef mixture, half of the sour cream, and a third of the cheese.
  6. Repeat the layering process, finishing with the remaining noodles, sour cream, and cheese on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Remove from oven and let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
  9. Garnish with chopped green onions and cilantro before serving.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, replace ground beef with lentils or additional beans.
  • Add sliced jalapeños for extra heat.
  • This dish can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
