- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup black pepper
- 1/2 cup red chili flakes
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken breasts with honey, soy sauce, black pepper, and red chili flakes. Set aside for 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the chicken for 25-30 minutes or until thoroughly cooked.
- While the chicken is baking, cook the macaroni according to package instructions and drain.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour until smooth.
- Gradually whisk in the milk, and cook until the sauce thickens. Stir in the cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce. Stir until well coated.
- Serve the baked honey pepper chicken with the creamy macaroni cheese.
Notes
- You can adjust the amount of red chili flakes according to your preference for spiciness.
- The chicken can also be grilled instead of baked if preferred.
- For a more cheesy macaroni, add more cheese to the sauce.
