- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, and baking powder; set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
- Gradually blend in the dry ingredients.
- Drop rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden.
- Allow cookies to cool on wire racks.
- In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled cookies.
- Top with assorted fresh fruits. Serve and enjoy!
