Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • Assorted fresh fruits (strawberries, kiwi, blueberries, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, and baking powder; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
  5. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden.
  8. Allow cookies to cool on wire racks.
  9. In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  10. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled cookies.
  11. Top with assorted fresh fruits. Serve and enjoy!
