A tangy and spicy chutney made with fresh pineapples and jalapenos, perfect as a condiment or dip.
Ingredients

- 1 ripe pineapple, peeled, cored and chopped
- 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and finely chopped
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients in a large saucepan.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered, stirring often, for about an hour or until thickened.
- Let it cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
Notes
- If you prefer a less spicy chutney, remove the seeds from the jalapenos.
- This chutney can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a month.
