Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the sliced apples to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg over the apples.
- Drizzle the lemon juice over the mixture and stir to combine.
- Continue to cook for another 5-10 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the sauce thickens.
- Serve warm, optionally over vanilla ice cream.
