Ingredients

  • 2 cans of crescent roll dough
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and lay it in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, pressing the seams together to form a crust.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
  5. Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and lay it over the cream cheese mixture, again pressing the seams together.
  6. Brush the melted butter over the top of the dough.
  7. In a small bowl, mix together the ground cinnamon and the remaining granulated sugar, then sprinkle it evenly over the top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  9. Let cool, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding a drizzle of honey or chocolate sauce on top when serving.
  • This dessert can be served warm or chilled.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
