Irresistible Sopapilla Cheesecake Bars recipe


Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 packages cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)
  • 1/2 cup sugar (for topping)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Press one can of crescent roll dough into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over the crescent roll dough.
  4. Place the second can of crescent roll dough over the cream cheese layer.
  5. Pour melted butter over the top layer.
  6. In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over the butter.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Cool before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • You can add a drizzle of honey or caramel sauce for extra sweetness.
  • For a twist, sprinkle chopped nuts on top before baking.
