Irresistible Sopapilla Cheesecake Bars recipe

- 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 packages cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup butter (melted)
- 1/2 cup sugar (for topping)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Press one can of crescent roll dough into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over the crescent roll dough.
- Place the second can of crescent roll dough over the cream cheese layer.
- Pour melted butter over the top layer.
- In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over the butter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- You can add a drizzle of honey or caramel sauce for extra sweetness.
- For a twist, sprinkle chopped nuts on top before baking.
