- 2 ribeye steaks (1-inch thick)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Juice of half a lemon
Instructions
- Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat until shimmering.
- Add the steaks and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
- While the steak cooks, mix together the softened butter, garlic, parsley, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, red pepper flakes, and lemon juice in a bowl until well combined.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and allow them to rest for 5 minutes.
- Top each steak with a generous amount of cowboy butter before serving.
