Savory Turkey and Cranberry Crescent Ring

  • Total Time: 45 minutes

Description

A festive and savory dish perfect for Thanksgiving, this Turkey and Cranberry Crescent Ring combines the flavors of roast turkey and tangy cranberry in a flaky crescent roll crust.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 1 cup chopped cooked turkey
  • 3/4 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Unroll both cans of dough; separate into 16 triangles. Arrange triangles on a 12-inch pizza pan, forming a ring with pointed ends facing the outer edge of the pan and wide ends overlapping.
  2. Layer the turkey, cranberry sauce, cheese and pecans on each triangle closest to the ring edge. Bring the top of the triangle over the filling, tucking the ends under the bottom layer of dough. Repeat around the ring until the entire filling is enclosed.
  3. Brush the ring with the beaten egg. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and thoroughly baked. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Substitute the turkey with chicken if preferred.
  • Use fresh cranberry sauce for best results.
