A delicious and sweet appetizer made with dates stuffed with creamy cheese and nuts, then roasted to perfection.

- 20 Medjool dates, pitted
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, chopped walnuts, honey, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
- Carefully open each date and stuff it with the cream cheese mixture.
- If using, sprinkle crumbled feta cheese on top of the stuffed dates.
- Place the stuffed dates on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until golden and heated through.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For a vegan option, substitute cream cheese with a plant-based alternative.
- Feel free to use different nuts or add dried fruits for extra flavor.
