Irresistible Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Roll Cake


Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped peanuts

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to package instructions. Bake in a sheet pan.
  2. While the cake is baking, mix peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth. Spread over a kitchen towel.
  3. Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Spread over peanut butter layer.
  4. Once the cake is done, flip onto the prepared towel. Roll the cake and towel together. Let cool.
  5. Melt chocolate chips and butter. Unroll the cake, spread the chocolate mixture, and roll back up.
  6. Chill for 30 minutes, then garnish with chopped peanuts. Slice and serve.

Notes

  • Add chopped Reese’s cups for extra flavor.
  • Make sure the cake is completely cooled before rolling.
  • Use a serrated knife to slice for clean cuts.
