Description

Ramen Carbonara is a flavorful fusion dish combining traditional Italian Carbonara with Japanese Ramen. It’s creamy, packed with umami flavors, and super comforting.


Ingredients

  • 2 packs of instant ramen noodles
  • 4 slices of thick-cut bacon
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Boil the ramen noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large sauté pan, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon from the pan and chop into small pieces.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, Parmesan cheese, and black pepper.
  4. Remove the pan from the heat and slowly pour in the egg mixture, stirring constantly. The heat of the pan will cook the egg slightly and form a creamy sauce.
  5. Add the cooked ramen noodles to the pan and toss to combine.
  6. Stir in the chopped bacon and parsley. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Make sure to slowly pour the egg mixture into the pan to avoid scrambling the eggs.
  • You can add more cheese or pepper to taste.
