- 1/4 cup brown sugar

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the baby carrots and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar, salt, pepper, and cinnamon over the carrots.
- Add water and stir to combine.
- Cover the skillet and cook for another 5-7 minutes, until the carrots are tender.
- Remove the lid and cook for an additional 2 minutes to thicken the glaze.
- Serve warm as a side dish.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark brown sugar.
- You can substitute honey or maple syrup for brown sugar if desired.
- Fresh carrots can be used instead of baby carrots; just cut them into similar-sized pieces.
