- 4 pork chops
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season the pork chops with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet.
- Cook the pork chops for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the sliced onions and mushrooms, cooking until softened.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, adding dried thyme.
- Return the pork chops to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the pork is cooked through.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the pork chops in the seasoning for a few hours before cooking.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or rice to soak up the gravy.
