Description

A delicious twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, this meatloaf is packed with flavor and topped with cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, milk, bell peppers, onions, provolone cheese, eggs, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  5. Top the meatloaf with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  7. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
