- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup beef broth
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 4 sandwich buns
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked.
- Add the diced onion, bell pepper, and garlic, cooking until the vegetables are soft.
- Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and beef broth. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Place a slice of provolone cheese on top of the beef mixture and cover until melted.
- Serve the mixture on sandwich buns.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add a dash of hot sauce.
- Feel free to substitute the provolone cheese with your favorite cheese.
- These can be made in advance and reheated when ready to serve.
