Peanut Butter Dream Bars


Description

Delicious and creamy peanut butter bars with a crumbly base and topped with a rich chocolate layer.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix peanut butter, melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined.
  3. Add the graham cracker crumbs and mix until the mixture is evenly moistened.
  4. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. In another bowl, mix powdered sugar with melted chocolate chips and heavy cream until smooth.
  6. Spread the chocolate mixture over the peanut butter layer in the baking dish.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
  8. Cut into bars and serve cold.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
  • Make sure the bars are completely set before cutting them.
