A delicious and indulgent lasagna layered with flavors of Parmesan garlic, crispy bacon, and cheeseburger-inspired ingredients.

- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
- In a skillet, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened.
- Add ground beef to the skillet, cook until browned, then drain excess fat.
- Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with parsley, salt, and pepper.
- In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread a layer of the meat sauce, followed by a layer of lasagna noodles.
- Spread a layer of the ricotta mixture, followed by a layer of mozzarella and bacon. Repeat the layers.
- Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly.
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For a vegetarian version, substitute ground beef with mushrooms or lentils.
- Feel free to add spinach or other vegetables for added nutrition.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
