OVEN ROASTED TOMATOES & BURRATA SALAD RECIPE

Description

A delightful blend of oven roasted tomatoes and creamy burrata cheese that creates a refreshing and savory salad.


Ingredients

  • 10 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 burrata cheese ball
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 bunch fresh basil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Place the cherry tomatoes on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Roast the tomatoes in the oven for 20 minutes, or until they are soft and slightly charred.
  4. While the tomatoes are roasting, place the burrata on a serving platter.
  5. Once the tomatoes are done, arrange them around the burrata.
  6. Drizzle the balsamic vinegar over the tomatoes and burrata.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil.
  8. Season with additional salt and pepper if desired, then serve.

Notes

  • You can use any type of tomatoes for this recipe, but cherry tomatoes are recommended for their sweet flavor.
  • The burrata can be substituted with fresh mozzarella if you prefer.
