Outback Steakhouse Alice Springs Chicken is a deliciously marinated grilled chicken breast topped with sautéed mushrooms, crispy bacon, and melted cheese, served with a honey mustard sauce.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup honey mustard dressing
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix the honey mustard dressing with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Marinate the chicken breasts in the honey mustard mixture for at least 30 minutes.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the mushrooms until tender.
- Grill the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
- During the last few minutes of grilling, top each chicken breast with sautéed mushrooms, chopped bacon, and shredded cheese.
- Close the grill lid to melt the cheese.
- Serve hot with extra honey mustard on the side.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add some cayenne pepper to the marinade.
- Serve with a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh salad.
- This recipe can be made in the oven at 375°F for 25-30 minutes if you don’t have a grill.
