Rich and cheesy baked ziti that tastes like a million bucks
Ingredients

- 1 lb ziti pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 24 oz marinara sauce
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook ziti according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown ground beef with onions and garlic.
- Add marinara sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in sour cream and cooked ziti.
- Layer half of the ziti mixture in a baking dish, top with half of mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Repeat the layering.
- Bake for 20 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
- Sprinkle with parsley, serve hot.
Notes
- You can use ground turkey or sausage instead of beef for variation.
- For extra flavor, add Italian seasoning to the meat sauce.
- Let the ziti sit for 5-10 minutes before serving to set.
