- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup ketchup (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, onion, milk, egg, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish lined with parchment paper.
- Spread ketchup evenly on top of the meatloaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For added moisture, you can soak the breadcrumbs in the milk for a few minutes before mixing.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
