Marinated Mozzarella Balls


Description

Deliciously seasoned mozzarella balls marinated in olive oil and herbs, perfect as a snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound mozzarella balls
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the mozzarella balls to the bowl and gently toss to coat them in the marinade.
  3. Transfer the mozzarella balls and marinade to an airtight container.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Serve chilled or at room temperature as an appetizer or snack.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, try adding sun-dried tomatoes or olives to the marinade.
  • These marinated mozzarella balls can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
