Description
Deliciously seasoned mozzarella balls marinated in olive oil and herbs, perfect as a snack or appetizer.
Ingredients

- 1 pound mozzarella balls
- 1 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Add the mozzarella balls to the bowl and gently toss to coat them in the marinade.
- Transfer the mozzarella balls and marinade to an airtight container.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature as an appetizer or snack.
Notes
- For extra flavor, try adding sun-dried tomatoes or olives to the marinade.
- These marinated mozzarella balls can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
