  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Add the tea bags, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, cloves, and sliced ginger.
  3. Reduce the heat and let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and strain the spices and tea bags.
  5. Stir in your chosen sweetener while the tea is still warm.
  6. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
  7. Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the cooled chai over the ice.
  8. Add milk to the chai and stir well.
