Description
A refreshing iced chai latte that you can easily make at home with a blend of spices and tea, combined with milk and served over ice.
Ingredients

- 2 cups water
- 2 black tea bags
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 4 cardamom pods
- 4 cloves
- 1 inch piece of fresh ginger, sliced
- 1/4 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 2 tablespoons sweetener (honey, sugar, or syrup)
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the tea bags, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, cloves, and sliced ginger.
- Reduce the heat and let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and strain the spices and tea bags.
- Stir in your chosen sweetener while the tea is still warm.
- Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
- Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the cooled chai over the ice.
- Add milk to the chai and stir well.
- Enjoy your homemade iced chai latte!
