- 2 slices of bread
- 1 cup shredded cheese (such as cheddar or Gruyere)
- 1/2 cup cooked lobster meat, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer the shredded cheese and chopped lobster meat.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwich in the skillet.
- Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the bread is golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a dash of lemon juice to the lobster before adding it to the sandwich.
- Experiment with different types of cheese for varied taste.
- Serve with a side of tomato soup for a classic combination.
