- 1–2 tablespoons honey or sweetener of choice
- 1 cup milk or milk alternative
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Boil the water in a saucepan.
- Add the loose black tea or tea bags and chai spice mix to the boiling water.
- Simmer for 5-10 minutes, depending on desired strength.
- Strain the tea into a pitcher and stir in honey or sweetener.
- Let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until cold.
- To serve, fill a glass with ice, pour in the chilled chai tea, and top with milk or milk alternative.
