Description
A deliciously breaded and baked chicken dish topped with a creamy parmesan sauce, reminiscent of the popular LongHorn Steakhouse recipe.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another dish, place the flour. In a third dish, beat the eggs.
- Coat each chicken breast in flour, dip in the beaten eggs, and then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the oven, top each chicken breast with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in Italian dressing for a few hours before breading.
- Serve with a side of pasta or a fresh salad.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
