- 1 pound kielbasa sausage, sliced
- 4 cups potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add the diced potatoes, sliced kielbasa, onion, and half of the cheddar cheese. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add sliced jalapeños or hot sauce.
- This dish can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
