- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cups sweetened condensed milk
- ¾ cup key lime juice
- 1 tbsp key lime zest
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter.
- Press mixture into a pie dish to form the crust.
- Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
- In a separate bowl, whisk condensed milk, lime juice, and zest until thick.
- Pour the filling into the crust and bake for 15 minutes.
- Chill the pie in the fridge for at least 3 hours.
- Whip heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Top the pie with whipped cream before serving.
Notes
- Add extra lime zest for a tangier flavor.
- For a twist, use a chocolate cookie crust instead of graham crackers.
