Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cups sweetened condensed milk
  • ¾ cup key lime juice
  • 1 tbsp key lime zest
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter.
  3. Press mixture into a pie dish to form the crust.
  4. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk condensed milk, lime juice, and zest until thick.
  6. Pour the filling into the crust and bake for 15 minutes.
  7. Chill the pie in the fridge for at least 3 hours.
  8. Whip heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  9. Top the pie with whipped cream before serving.

Notes

  • Add extra lime zest for a tangier flavor.
  • For a twist, use a chocolate cookie crust instead of graham crackers.
