- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices of cheese (American or cheddar)
- 4 slices of bread (rye or sourdough)
- 2 tbsp butter

Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
- Cook the patties in a skillet over medium heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
- Place a slice of cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to let it melt.
- Meanwhile, butter one side of each slice of bread.
- In another skillet, place the bread butter-side down, and add the cooked patties with melted cheese on top. Top with another slice of bread, butter-side up.
- Grill the sandwiches until golden brown on both sides and the cheese is fully melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
