These hot honey fried shrimp are a perfect blend of sweet and spicy flavors with a crispy coating.
Ingredients
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup hot honey sauce
2 cups vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
Coat each shrimp in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F (175°C).
Fry the coated shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Remove the fried shrimp and drain on paper towels.
In a separate bowl, toss the fried shrimp in the hot honey sauce until fully coated.
Serve the hot honey fried shrimp immediately.
