Description
A hearty and delicious homemade Reuben bake, filled with corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and topped with a crispy rye bread crumble.

- 8 slices of rye bread, cubed
- 1/2 cup of butter, melted
- 1 pound of sliced deli corned beef
- 1 can (14 ounces) of sauerkraut, drained
- 2 cups of shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 cup of Thousand Island dressing
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a bowl, mix together the rye bread cubes and melted butter. Set aside.
- Layer half of the corned beef in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish. Spread the sauerkraut evenly over the beef, then layer on the Swiss cheese.
- Pour the Thousand Island dressing evenly over the layers, then top with the remaining beef.
- Top everything with the bread cube mixture.
- Bake for 45 minutes in the preheated oven, until hot and bubbly.
Notes
- You can substitute the canned sauerkraut with fresh if preferred.
- Feel free to add more cheese if desired.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
