Delicious and nutritious chocolate chip protein muffins
Ingredients

- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup protein powder
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, protein powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine honey, applesauce, almond milk, and vanilla.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Spoon batter into muffin cups and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to use your favorite protein powder flavor.
- For extra fiber, add 1/4 cup ground flaxseed to the batter.
