Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped hazelnuts and chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Allow to cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.
