Description

Delicious Ham and Cheese Puff Pastry Pinwheels are a perfect bite-sized appetizer for your next gathering. They’re easy to make and are sure to impress your guests.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 100g ham slices
  • 100g cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg for egg wash
  • 1 teaspoon mustard (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan) mark 6.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Spread the mustard over the pastry, then lay the ham slices on top.
  4. Sprinkle the cheese evenly over the ham.
  5. Starting from one end, tightly roll up the pastry like a swiss roll.
  6. Brush the roll with the egg wash.
  7. Using a sharp knife, cut the roll into 1cm slices.
  8. Arrange the slices on a baking tray and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden and puffed.

Notes

  • Use any type of ham and cheese you like.
  • You can make these pinwheels a day ahead and refrigerate, then bake before serving.
