Delicious Ham and Cheese Puff Pastry Pinwheels are a perfect bite-sized appetizer for your next gathering. They’re easy to make and are sure to impress your guests.

- 1 sheet puff pastry
 - 100g ham slices
 - 100g cheddar cheese
 - 1 egg for egg wash
 - 1 teaspoon mustard (optional)
 
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan) mark 6.
 - Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
 - Spread the mustard over the pastry, then lay the ham slices on top.
 - Sprinkle the cheese evenly over the ham.
 - Starting from one end, tightly roll up the pastry like a swiss roll.
 - Brush the roll with the egg wash.
 - Using a sharp knife, cut the roll into 1cm slices.
 - Arrange the slices on a baking tray and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden and puffed.
 
Notes
- Use any type of ham and cheese you like.
 - You can make these pinwheels a day ahead and refrigerate, then bake before serving.
