Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Form the ground beef into 4 patties, season with salt and pepper.
  3. Brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness.
  5. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
  6. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill until golden brown.
