These flavorful Greek turkey meatballs are packed with herbs and feta cheese, served with a refreshing tzatziki sauce. Perfect for a delicious and healthy meal!
Ingredients
1 lb ground turkey
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
1 egg
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
1/2 cucumber, grated and excess water squeezed out
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, oregano, parsley, salt, pepper, feta cheese, and egg. Mix well to combine.
Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and browned.
In a small bowl, mix together the chopped parsley, mint, Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper to make the tzatziki sauce.
Serve the meatballs with the tzatziki sauce on the side for dipping.
