Gordon Ramsay’s Chicken Tikka Masala is a flavorful and creamy Indian dish made with marinated chicken cooked in a rich tomato-based sauce.

- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp garam masala
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- 1 tbsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, garam masala, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and chili powder. Add the diced chicken and marinate for at least 1 hour.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add garlic and ginger, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
- Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned on all sides.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes and bring to a simmer, cooking for about 10 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes until the sauce is thickened.
- Season with salt and garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier dish, increase the amount of chili powder.
- Serve with basmati rice or naan for a complete meal.
- This dish can be made in advance and reheated.
