gooey mozzarella biscuit bombs


Description

Deliciously cheesy biscuit bombs filled with gooey mozzarella, perfect for a snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the cold butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the milk until just combined.
  5. Fold in the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan, garlic powder, and parsley.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving to enjoy the gooey inside.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add Italian seasoning or crushed red pepper flakes to the dough.
  • Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
  • Best eaten fresh out of the oven.
