Juicy steak bites and crispy potatoes in garlic butter


Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into cubes
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. First, season steak cubes with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Next, heat a skillet over medium-high heat and melt 2 tbsp of butter.
  3. Then, sear the steak until browned on all sides, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. Meanwhile, boil the potatoes until just tender, then drain.
  5. Next, in the same skillet, melt remaining butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  6. Then, add potatoes and cook until crispy and golden.
  7. Finally, return the steak to the skillet, toss everything together, and garnish with parsley.

Notes

  • You can add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for a kick.
  • For extra flavor, deglaze the pan with a splash of beef broth.
