2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
3 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup whole milk
1/3 cup rainbow sprinkles
1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles (for decoration)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.
Fold in 1/3 cup rainbow sprinkles.
Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans. Smooth the tops with a spatula.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once the cakes are completely cool, frost the top of one cake layer, then place the second layer on top. Frost the top and sides of the cake with your favorite frosting.
Decorate the top of the cake with the remaining 1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles.
Slice and serve the Funfetti Confetti Cake.
