- 1 medium head of cabbage, chopped
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 pound smoked sausage, sliced
- 4 slices of bacon, chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
- Add the smoked sausage and cook until browned.
- Add the chopped cabbage, paprika, and soy sauce; stir well to combine.
- Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender.
- Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 5 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, and add the cooked bacon back into the skillet.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or carrots.
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
- This dish can be served alone or over rice for a more filling meal.
