Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the sliced peaches with sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Let it sit for about 10 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add milk to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Melt the butter in a baking dish and pour the batter over it without stirring.
  6. Spoon the peach mixture over the batter. Do not stir.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
